Event Information
Day of Instructions
The race starts at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 21st in Wilson Plaza. Please arrive early to allow time for check-in and connecting with friends. Registration and T-shirt pick up will open at 7:15 a.m. Coffee and light refreshments (bananas, and granola bars) will be available. Arts & crafts activities for kids will be available. A drawing with prizes will follow at the end of the race.
Early Race Packet Pick-Up- Friday May 19th
Avoid the lines on race day and pick up your race packet (bib and T-shirt) Friday, May 19th. Each school will have an early packet pick up table on Friday, May 19th. Schools will communicate the details of early pick up to registered families.
Fernald: 3:00-5:30 pm in front office
Krieger: 3:00-5:30 pm in front office
University Village: 4:00-5:30 pm in front office
UPNS: Office
Bright Horizons: Office
IDP: Office
UCLA Lab School: 11:30 a.m. in cactus garden after TTMD
Geffen Academy: 2:00-4:30 pm outside table in front of school
Parking
Parking is available in Structure 4. Participants must pay at a pay station for daily parking.
T-Shirts
T-shirts are 100% cotton.
The day of the event, you will be able to pick up your assigned t-shirt after check-in.
Strollers and Scooters
Strollers are allowed and encouraged for smaller walkers or not yet walkers. Scooters and skates are fine too- No electric or motorized scooters or bikes allowed.
Water Bottles
We are proud to announce that our PreK-12 Community 5K Race will be compliant with UCLA's Environment and Sustainability requirements. There will be water fill-up stations in designated areas around the event. Please bring your own reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the event.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed on UCLA campus so long as they are on leash. We recommend dogs are not allowed on the race route for the safety of children and families.
Late Registration
The cost of registration will increase to $35.00 per participant after noon on Wednesday, May 17th. Register early to get the best price and ensure your T-shirt on race day!
